Re: New Recriuts for the 2011 upcoming season..
Heard a Brumour of a Looma Eagles supporter walking up to the umpires either at the end of the game, starting to point and yell abuse at the umpire and didn't realise the umpire was a cop/ex-cop and grab the supporters arm, twisted it and had him on the ground.
Any truth in this, if so surely we dont need this in our game and a year ban imposed or more.
Top 3 looks comfortable, interesting to see where we are at after everyone has played everyone

Z Cox is a very limited country football thug. Relies on delivery and is too slow to have an impact otherwise. Gets frustrated as we saw verse the Bulls and becomes a try hard bully.

Well the season is certainly hotting up now with Cable beach sitting on top a game clear after the Bombers and Towns suffered successive losses. Derby got up again and look like a good thing for 4th spot at the halfway mark. Probably only Looma can dislodge a current top 4 side.
After a much hyped pre season the Bulls have fallen away badly culminating in the coach quitting then resuming a week later. Looma had a good win against Bombers only to fail in an important game against a white hot Beach. Towns are starting to look vulnerable after losing to Bidgy on the weekend. Bombers got back to their best with a massive win over a hapless Bulls outfit.
Here are the latest premiership odds: Cable Beach.........$1.90
Bombers..............$ 2.20
Towns.................$ 2.40
Derby..................$ 2.75
Looma.................$ 3.00
All others.............$ 20.00.
